Responsibilities
You are ultimately responsible for implementing the vision of Salt Company to minister to the college students of Keystone and on the Campus of DMACC. You will serve as the overseer, equipper, mobilizer, and shepherd of Salt Company.
Overseer
- Oversee and direct The Salt Company at DMACC, Salt staff, volunteers, and leaders. Plan and execute weekly gatherings and special events (Air War).
- Structure the teaching schedule, schedule teachers, and teach ~50-60% of Thursdays
- Instill a culture of life-on-life ministry (Connection Groups) into Salt Company and Discipleship Groups with leaders (Ground War)
- Manage the ministry calendar in alignment with Salt Company essentials within the larger context of Keystone’s master calendar
Equipper
- Create clear expectations, continual clarity in roles, and compelling vision for salt staff and ministry leaders.
- Equip students and ministry leaders for ministry inside and outside of the church.
Mobilizer
- Recruit a volunteer ministry team to reflect church values
- Empower students to serve in our church and beyond
Shepherd
- Care for and shepherd the students in Salt Company.
- Share the gospel with and disciple DMACC Students in Ankeny.
Keystone Staff Member/Other Responsibilities
- Support Raise $1,500 per month
- Design and maintain fundraising strategy for all of Salt Company
- Full participation in Keystone church at large
- Full participation in staff-related meetings/events.
- Other responsibilities assigned by direct supervisor
Requirements
- Proven leadership of ministering to students in a staff role.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Formal theological training. If none, must be willing to pursue theological training.

Additionally, by joining the Keystone Staff team, you and your spouse are expected to go through the Membership Process of Keystone Church. As staff and members, you will be placed under the leadership and shepherding of the Elders of this Church and are to lead the way in Celebrating, Connecting, and Contributing.
