Creative Video Lead

DIRECT SUPERVISOR:
Worship Director

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and Execute the Vision for Video Content
- Work with the Lead Pastor,  Worship Pastor and Creative Team to develop and execute a comprehensive video strategy that aligns with the church's vision and core values. Cultivating and curating stories to be told to the church body.
- Produce high-quality video content for all church ministries and initiatives, including promotional material, testimony videos, sermon bumper videos, and content for social media and the website.
- Ensure all video content is visually compelling, high-quality, and consistent with the church's  identity and tone.
- Manage Video Production Workflow and Resources
- Lead and manage the entire video production process from concept to final delivery, including scripting, storyboarding, shooting, editing, motion graphics, and sound design.
- Manage video equipment inventory, maintenance, and purchasing recommendations.
- Maintain an organized system for video archives and assets.
- Lead and Develop the Video Story Team
- Recruit, train, and develop a team of volunteer videographers, editors, and production assistants.
- Provide clear creative direction, feedback, and mentorship to team members to help them grow in their skills and leadership.
- Schedule and coordinate video team volunteers for all necessary shoots and events.
- Support Live Production Video Needs
- Oversee and execute the video/IMAG (Image Magnification) for Sunday services and special events, ensuring seamless integration with the live production team.
- Manage and maintain the video Library of Sermons and Worship Services
- Collaborate with the Production/IT Team Lead for technical integration and support.

OTHER DUTIES:
All staff members are expected to model flexibility and a willingness to take part in church activities and initiatives that may be outside of their normal day-to-day responsibilities and to model servant leadership in their position at all times.

SUMMARY:
Your core responsibility is to shepherd our church by utilizing your creative and technical video gifts to tell compelling stories, effectively communicate the church's mission, enhance service production, and maximize the visual potential of all communication platforms.

The successful candidate will have a healthy, vibrant walk with God, will already be actively involved in the leadership of the church, and will be committed to being in an authentic gospel community. Their lifestyle will be marked by being a servant leader, generous with their money, time and giftings, joy and love for spending time with the Lord. A growing desire to shepherd others in their relationship with the Lord and to raise up leaders is necessary. They will be people of integrity in all areas of life!

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Proven professional experience in video production, editing, and motion graphics (portfolio required).
- Clear, vocational calling to ministry.
- Currently serving, leading, and tithing at your local church.
- Proven ability to disciple, mentor, and lead others to Christ.
- Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
- Expert proficiency with professional camera equipment, lighting, and audio recording for video.
- Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or equivalent professional editing software.
- A firm grip on God’s Word.
- Ministry experience is helpful, but not required.
