Communicate the vision and stories of The Salt Network
The overall goal for the Communications Lead is to share the vision and stories of The Salt Network in compelling ways to further the work and the mission of planting churches and reaching college students.
Job Responsibilities
Communication Strategy: Collaborate with Network staff to develop a comprehensive communication strategy to be executed through web, social media, video content, email campaigns, and other relevant mediums.
Storytelling: Give leadership over how we tell the story of the Network and stories from around the network. Utilize videos, social media posts, newsletter features and other forms of communication to help people see and celebrate the work that God is doing..
Event Management: Be the point of contact for all of our Network Events (Salt Company Conference, Salt Leadership Summit, Catch the Vision, Global Retreats) to ensure seamless execution by helping them to run smoothly and create a great experience for our guests. This would include pre and post event communication, use of graphics and print materials, management of volunteer teams, and capturing the event through photo and video.
Content Management: Manage the communication tools used by the Network, including social media, podcast, website, newsletters, and fundraising communications. Regularly update content to ensure relevance and engagement across various audiences.
