JOB SUMMARY: Oversee family ministries, provide pastoral care, and oversee membership.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
FAMILY MINISTRIES
Provide directional oversight for Candeo Youth and Candeo Kids staff.
Provide leadership to the recruitment, training, empowering, and shepherding of staff and volunteers.
Disciple parents toward being primary disciplers of their children.
Ensure Wednesday and Sunday environments for children and teens are physically safe, theologically rich, experientially excellent.
Oversee the assimilation of new families into the Candeo family.
PASTORAL CARE
In conjunction with the elder team, oversee discipline and managing conflict within Candeo, seeking to reconcile relationships and promote unity within the church.
Contribute as a regular teaching voice in the Candeo equipping environments.
Contribute to the Sunday preaching schedule at a frequency which will be determined in cooperation with the lead pastor.
Oversee the execution of weddings and funerals at Candeo.
MEMBERSHIP
Oversee the membership process- scheduling and execution.
Oversee the membership approval process.
Oversee the care of Candeo members.
Equip and empower members for the work of the ministry both inside and outside the walls of Candeo. (Ephesians 4)
Ultimately: You are responsible to be a skilled shepherd in our church body who equips and empowers our members and families to help this generation, and the next, find their greatest joy in Jesus.

Education:
Bachelors degree required, masters preferred
Experience:
5-10 years of pastoral experience required, 10+ years preferred
